Learning Genie Inc. (*) is a fast-growing education-tech start-up company in Carlsbad, California. Our key product provides mobile apps and data services to help early learning centers, PreK/TK of School Districts, and Head Start Programs better record children's daily learning activities

We are looking for a career-driven, self-motivated, energetic, and passionate person to join our helpdesk team. Someone who:

  •     Identify customers' needs, clarifies information, researches every issue and provides solutions and/or alternatives
  •     De-escalates customers; has great conflict resolution skills
  •     Builds sustainable relationships and engages customers by going the extra mile

Your Day to Day:

  •     Manage inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  •     Identify and escalate priority issues per customer specifications
  •     Provide client support through our ticketing system and phone support
  •     Troubleshooting and finding solutions
  •     Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
  •     Record technical issues and solutions in logs
  •     Provide developers with customers' feedback to help identify potential new features or products
  •     Report on product performance

What you bring to the team:

  •     High school diploma or equivalent
  •     Experience in call center or customer service activities preferred
  •     Ability to exercise basic judgment in identifying and implementing solutions to customer concerns and inquiries with supervision and guidance from managers
  •     Great writing skills
  •     Must be able to learn new technology quickly
  •     You know how to juggle multiple tasks at the same time
  •     Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
