Global Operations is part of the Business Area Solutions/S-TEC organisation and is the global supply chain for the 2,3 Bn EUR project business within GEA. Country Lead for Project Supply Chain Mexico. Your primary responsibilities are:
•Day to day management and operationally lead of the Mexican team in Supply Chain (procurement and logistics ) .Working with the relevant R&C, APC’s and S-TEC’s to implement the One GEA supply chain strategy.
•Implement and participate in developing the supply chain hub locations in the area driving synergies across LAM region.
•Integration and development of teams in Hub structure.
•Based on instruction from Project Supply Chain LAM manager, perform all procurement and logistics activities for equipment/items for projects.
•The position is located in the Mexico City, however, possible engagement to overseeing activities in nearby countries should be considered
•Bachelor or Master’s degree in Supply Chain management. Degree on engineering/Business will be considered .
•You have a good technical insight or you’ve worked in a technical branch before;
You have minimum five years of experience within a supply chain management role.
•You have great negotiation skills.
•You have analytical profile.
•You have an effective business understanding, commercial skills and are able to work and perform under a high level of abstraction
•You have very good communication skills and like to work with and manage people in a cross cultural environment
•Excellent people and stakeholder management skills
•Fluent in English. One or more other languages are preferred
•Willingness to travel on a regular base (approx. 25 travel days a year)
You have good knowledge about Mexican suppliers market. Knowledge about Colombian/other countries are preferred.
