We are currently searching for a Senior QA Automation Engineer:

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of automated testing for front-end, back-end, and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to ensure quality across all components.
• Guarantee adherence to business requirements through comprehensive testing strategies.

Requirements:

• Over 3 years of experience in automation development.
• Strong knowledge of test automation for REST and SOAP services.
• Hands-on experience with mobile testing using Appium.
• Experience in front-end automation (preferably Playwright, Selenium, or similar).
• Proficiency with Karate framework.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Java and automation design patterns.
• Familiarity with Gradle and GitFlow.
• Deep knowledge of the test automation pyramid, including integration, component, and system testing.
• Understanding of consumer-driven contract testing and Pact Broker (PACT) tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of security concepts (SSL, certificates, keystore/truststore) is valued.

Desired:

• Familiarity with Fortify & Blackduck.
• Experience with Kafka, NestJS, and *.
• Active Scotiabank user credentials.
• Experience using Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Financial/Banking industry background.

Languages:

• Advanced Oral English.
• Native Spanish.
